And I think, you know, what you’re talking about in this book is breaking some of these, um, unfortunate social norms that have been taken out of context.

And one of the things that we look at on the show or quotes and your book is just full of them from global leaders, both in the public and private sector.

So really what I wanted to do was, uh, because once again, Bruce Tuckman wrote a great article, right about forming, storming, norming, and performing.

Jim Rembach: Going through the book I just kept finding myself jumping from these stories from one to another there’s a huge breadth and depth of them.

Jim Rembach: Well, I think you do find some commonality and that kind of ties into the book, Cadence, when you start talking about these seven levers.

So that’s where the title of the book came from and the funny thing is I ended up writing 42 first-person true narratives about things that have happened,.

One of my favorite playwright is August Wilson who wrote this magisterial cycle of the African-American life through the decades from the last century.

He wrote some other books that cover frameworks for getting into college, capturing leads at trade shows and even becoming a perfect parent.

He’s been around the block enough times and even skeptical MBA students recognize that he’s got some street cred more than just that book learning stuff.

Each individual who becomes part of that book club will take a chapter, and the books are great book on leadership, on business or on contact centers.
